We know that this year has been challenging in many ways, and we want to encourage you to find ways to celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ, and to find joy during this special time. Whether it be through gatherings with loved ones, participating in holiday traditions, or simply taking a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, we hope you will find ways to make the most of this holiday season.

We also wanted to remind you that our church will gather again on January 8th. We will not meet on Sunday, Dec 25th and Sunday, Jan 1st since building management is not available.

Pray for all our people to have a hunger and thirst for God, His Word, and a prayer life. To connect with Christ, Revive Church, and the Community. Pray for our visitors. Pray for the assembly of our Ministry Board (Leader Team). Pray God raises Elders. Pray for Revive’s Accreditation process in the next year to three. Pray for outreach efforts and missional living for each person.

Hi Revive!

Our first Christmas Service is on Sunday, December 18th at 11am. Many people look for a church to celebrate the holidays with so invite your friends, neighbors, family, etc. Revive Church is looking forward to seeing you and meeting your friends!

Revive Church will reconvene on January 8th. We will not meet on Sunday, Dec 25th and Sunday, Jan 1st since building management is not available. During this time, we encourage you to be the church by loving God, each other, and your community. Hi Revive!

We’re so excited to celebrate Christ’s birth together as a Church. This Sunday we find ourselves in Isaiah 9:6 focusing on the third name of Christ: “Everlasting Father.” To understand Jesus as “father” may be easy for some and hard for others, depending on our experience with our earthly fathers. Be comforted knowing that Jesus is perfect in all His ways towards us.

• Invite someone to coffee

Hi Revive!

We are continuing to celebrate the Christmas season with our series, Names of Christ. Join us this Sunday at 11am for the next title from Isaiah 9:6: “MIGHTY GOD.”

We are also celebrating communion this Sunday.

During the Christmas season, there are many people looking for a church to celebrate with. We encourage you to extend an invitation to your friends and neighbors to Revive Church for our Christmas Service on Sunday Dec. 18th at 11am. Revive Kids will bless us with a song, we will sing Christmas carols and worship, and end service with candle light. There is a candle for all of you to use and any guests you invite to come. We are looking forward to celebrating the birth of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ!

A message from the Great Lakes District:

Thank you for all your prayers and support! This quarter’s newsletter highlights the 4 church plants launched and launching this fall: Visible Church in Toledo, Roots Church in Muskegon, Revive Church in Rochester Hills, and L.E.A.D. Community Church in Toledo.

Launching takes place on the back end of a lot of prayer, training and networking. It comes on the heels of building a ton of relationships and a network with only the Holy Spirit and a love for people. At the same time, it is just the beginning! We are praying that these will be hundred year churches that plant churches who plant churches who make disciples who make disciples.
Please continue to pray for these leaders and core teams. Here are 3 concrete ways to join with Jesus in catalyzing Church plants.

1. Set a timer every day to pray for these Church Plants.

2. Visit one of these Church Plants.

3. Give to GLD Church Planting. You can do so here.

• Service starts promptly at 11am, due to our lease contract we have to be faithful to the time! If you are signed up to help set up, please arrive at 9:30am for the next couple weeks.

• We are so incredibly grateful to Lutheran Northwest for leasing us their space. We are allowed to move tables and chairs for our fellowship time; however, we have to return things as they were at the end of our time each Sunday.
